Zabrina Hancock

Zabrina Hancock, or Bree to family, friends, and clients, is the creative mind behind the blog ZDesign At Home. After spending years in the corporate world, she decided to pursue her passion for interior design and styling. Since then, she has been helping others decorate their homes. Her personal style can be described as “transitional modern,” where she goes for clean lines with an eclectic, comfortable feel. She loves using pops of color and patterns along with her favorite neutrals to come up with tasteful designs.

A Mixed-Metal Christmas Tree

For her home, Bree chose a Red Spruce Slim Tree that has reddish-brown branches and light-green foliage. Its layered branch structure and long outer branch tips makes it well-suited for displaying ornaments and decorations. She then gathered a mixture of ornaments and picks in hues of silver and gold to create an eclectic mixed-metal tree that’s interesting and beautiful at the same time.

Bree scattered large Metallic Magnolia blooms and leaves around the tree, along with lovely handcrafted glass ornaments. She combined pieces from various sets: French Country, Midnight Frost, Silver and Gold, and BH Essentials. On top of the tree is a Christmas Bouquet Tree Topper, which has champagne-colored magnolia flowers, berries, and mixed leaves. Adding to the luxe vibe, the base of the tree is covered with an ivory-colored Lodge Faux Fur Tree Skirt. This is complemented by presents wrapped with Flexible Woven Decorating Ribbon placed under the tree.
