Woodland Elegance

What type of Balsam Hill tree do you have and how tall is it?
Our fantastic Noble Fir Flip Tree stands nine feet tall.

What mix of ornaments did you use for the Noble Fir Flip Christmas Tree?
I used the Woodland Ornament Set, and added accents such as the Silver Glitter Tree Ribbon, and Woodland Red Berry Sprays.

How many ornaments did you use to achieve this look?
We hung over 200 ornaments this year. It was so much fun, the best year ever!

How much garland/ribbon did it take to cover the tree?
We used 5 spools of the intensely glittered silver ribbon.

How did you decide on the decorating theme of your tree?
We unanimously fell in love with the Woodland Tree Ornament Set, and knew it was perfect for the hyper-realistic BH Noble Fir Flip Tree. Our farm is nestled on the side of Elsberry Mountain surrounded by giant pines that date back to the Civil War. We loved bringing the outdoors in, especially the squirrel!

Is there a story on a signature ornament you’d like to share with us?
My boys and husband loved the giant acorn. Made with wood materials, they appeared so realistic (albeit oversized) that it really captured their imaginations. They loved them so much in fact, that we decided to forgo the traditional tree topper and placed the mighty acorn at the top of our tree this year!

Is there something different you did for this tree that you particularly like?
Since our ornament collection was slightly more subdued, I decided I would let the kids go crazy with ribbon this year. I put our oldest kid, Izzie, in charge of the silvery spools of ribbon and the whole family worked together filling the tree. I really loved the way it turned out. Of course, I may have tiptoed in later for some retouching of the ribbon, but I thought my kids created a look I could have never produced on my own by obsessing over every little placement of ribbon.
