The Little Drummer Boy tree

How tall is your tree?
It is 7 feet tall.

What mix of ornaments did you use for this tree?
I used a mix of things like dried hydrangeas, some handmade items, paper cutouts, and some glistening balls.

How did you decide on the decorating theme of your tree?
We had just moved that summer into a house that we were midway through remodeling from top to bottom, so we pretty much just pulled our decor out of boxes and threw it up. We didn’t put a ton of thought or effort into it last year. Hopefully, this year we will have more of a plan.

Is there a story on a signature ornament you’d like to share with us?
The Little Drummer Boy is one of my husband’s and my favorite Christmas hymns, and so I really love the drummer boy cutouts we used.

Is there something different you did for this tree that you particularly like?
My mom and sister had both used hydrangeas in their Christmas trees in years past, and I always liked the look so we tried it last year. I like how it really helped fill the tree out!
